With possibly my favourite collection of the day, the German duo returned this season to present their autumn/winter catwalk with a burst of acid bright prints, knit fringing and metallic leather. Giving a warm colour palette to the winter season with hues of blood orange, rich chocolate and gold, the Felder sisters succeeded in their quest to create a cool and sexy collection. With an assortment of slinky digital print dresses and oversized knitwear, the collection seems to be all about movement and colour. Longer skirts were slit to the thigh whilst shorter frocks sported sweetheart necklines exposing skin in a sexy yet youthful way. Felder Felder portrayed a modern take on the flapper dress with beading and sequins, and mirrored it more casually with tasseled jumpers and shearling capes. Dresses were paired with corset belts and a subtle, blushed makeup palette; however the main draw of the accessories had to be the metallic block platform boots that accompanied every outfit.
The sisters describe their collection as 'grunge girl meets bombshell', taking inspiration from the effortlessness of the seventies and the grittiness of the nineties. The floaty materials in striking and unforgettable colours illustrated this vision clearly, overall creating a modern and youthful collection.
